The 9th Joint Seminar between Münster University and Nagoya University

Venue: Noyori Materials Science Laboratory
At the 9th Joint Seminar teaching staff and students from both Universities were able to meet together and discuss ideas for research both in Japan and Germany. Many students were able to familiarize themselves with future research supervisors and build confidence for their externship study plans in both Japan and Germany. As there are many who plan to study on exchange this year, the seminar was a really valuable opportunity.10 teaching staff and 3 students from Münster University attended and presented their research and posters at the seminar. Nagoya University contributed presentations from 5 teaching staff and 5 students.
Discussions were lively throughout the seminar and many ideas were extended and broadened through the time together. The seminar ended with a reception where students and staff were able to continue to network and enjoy a traditional Japanese dance performance. The seminar was a wonderful success and we are all looking forward to the second stage of this externship program.
